Claire and I went to visit a most beautiful house designed by Gaudi. I have never been in such an amazing place. It is called Casa Batlo. The rooms were beautiful, doors and windows were odd shapes. Even the roof was special. I am including some pictures but it has to be seen to appreciate it.
This is the lift. Below is the central atrium - sort of - to allow air and light to flow through the building. His motto was everything should be practical and beautiful. Even his ceilings were interesting!
we both really enjoyed the evening.
