Royal Birkdale - 23/4/2016

I meant to tell you that Dad had enough from his birthday present to buy a nice polo shirt. He won't wear it coming through customs this time, not after being bailed up for saying that he hadn't been in rural areas when he was wearing his St Andrew's t-shirt. The customs man was pretty cross but who would have thought that playing golf meant that you were in a rural area! Those Australian customs - so fussy!

Ps I know I should be writing about Prince, but I am having a lovely time watching a show on the Everly Brothers - it's great playing all their hits - and Keith Richards is part of the commentary. He looks so decrepit and is sitting their with a bandanna tied around his head and smoking!
