Nara

Well, we have seen the largest wooden Buddha in Japan - pretty big!  As well as that,we visited a beautiful garden with 3 separate areas- flower, moss and tea drinking -so lovely and it was free for foreign tourists. This is in an huge park area called Narakoen with heaps of temples and 1200 deer which were very tame and pretty.

We are on the way back to Kyoto now hoping to meet up with Yukiho.

Met Yukiho at the station. Yuki found us fortunately as I don’t think I would have found her in the crowd. We had tea with her and then trained home.

I meant to tell you what they provide in lots of cafes now - a box/basket or container of some sort to put your bag instead of throwing it on the next chair or hanging it over the chair back. Very handy!
